There will be a caravan to the museum that will assemble 8:30am at the far end parking lot of the Cielo Plaza. A check in table will provide to each participant a wrist band to enter the museum free of charge. Please anticipate signage of the liability form. Coffee can be purchased at the Invita Cafe; we will leave and caravan to the museum at 9:00am. There will be special parking in front of the museum for the FOC event participants.
Our FOC Board of Directors recently met at the San Diego Automotive Museum and the new Executive Director, Lenny Leszczynski, reviewed the exciting plans for a complete renovation of the museum which occurred during the pandemic shutdown. The museum is scheduled to re-open the end of March; FOC will be the first to get a tour for free!
Lenny is committed to making our local museum first class with a dedicated outreach to local car clubs including the FOC. The parking lot outside the museum has been changed into a park with grass areas, picnic tables and umbrellas for lounging and having lunch.
FOC event participants will have special parking for the Ferraris in front of the museum. Complimentary coffee will be provided by the museum. Lunch is on your own.
